Building a visual identity and digital experience for a circular economy initiative
A visual identity and website design project for Acceleration of the Circular Economy (ACE), an initiative transforming discarded medical textiles into durable, reusable products. The project brings together identity design and digital storytelling to communicate ACE’s circular economy model, partnerships, and growing community impact.

The website translates ACE’s circular economy model into a clear digital experience, guiding visitors from the problem of medical textile waste through the upcycling process, community impact, and opportunities to get involved. The design brings these interconnected parts together within a cohesive visual system while supporting ACE’s growing network of partners and initiatives.

The ACE identity began with a close examination of the non-woven medical fabric at the center of the project. A recurring three-point formation within the material became the structural starting point for the logo. Each point was translated into a circular interpretation of the letters A, C, and E, then combined and rotated to form a unified mark that connects the ACE name directly to the material itself.
Designing the
Visual Story

Beyond the identity, I developed a custom visual system to communicate how ACE’s materials move through the circular process. Custom iconography was created to represent material properties, while AI-assisted imagery was generated and manually refined to visualize key stages of collection, processing, and reuse.
