MOTION POSTERS

Personal Practice
This collection of motion poster studies reanimates iconic works by influential Iranian graphic designers, bringing historic posters into a contemporary digital context through motion and sound. For the 1973 Mendelssohn, Mozart, Brahms Symphony poster by Morteza Momayez, the bow-like forms were animated and synced with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 to highlight the original rhythmic structure. In the 1972 Insects poster by Ghobad Shiva, the repeated silk-screened figures were transformed into animated sequences that emphasize movement and multiplicity. The poster What Twisted the Father’s Mustache, designed by Alireza Mostafazadeh in 2014, was adapted through motion to extend the narrative energy of the illustration. Together, these studies honor Iranian graphic design heritage while interpreting it through contemporary motion techniques.
